CURRICULUM AND GOAL PLAN FOR DALLAS SUPER SONICS

1. Documentation for each client will be captured in three areas

A. Problem / chief complaint 

B. Detailed description of the situation 

C. Coaching plan /solution using S.M.A.R.T Goals 

  • Specific: Increase the chances that you’re able to accomplish your

business goals by making sure they’re well-defined. Determine who, what,

where when and why.

  • Measurable: Develop criteria for measuring progress toward your goals.

Detail the key indicators that help you decide when you reach your goal by

quantifying them.

  • Achievable: Create goals for your goal that are attainable and achievable

by ensuring that you have the skills and resources needed to reach the

goal.

  • Relevant: Align your personal goals with the overall objectives of your

performance goals and the expectations of the team 

  • Time-based: Give yourself and your team a deadline for reaching your

goal to provide a sense of urgency and the opportunity to schedule the

steps needed to achieve the goal.

2. The evidence of successful outcomes

Will be caught through family and ecological, scholarly, athletic and social results

3. The benefits of life coaching vs therapy

In this setting and population children and teens understand coaching through athletics. They will be more open to life coaching rather than therapy or counseling. Therapy carries a negative connotation that something is wrong, and they are closed off to it because of the stigma that is associated with therapy.

4. The curriculum that will be implemented during the one on one and group sessions are:

1. 12 important topics on mental health /mental health awareness for the

year. The Mental health life coach will teach on topic specific topic that

address mental health concerns to bring awareness.

2. The Life coach will provide information packets for each child.

3. The group sessions will consist of skits and current videos related to the

topic to provide interactive and visual activities that will assist the children

retain the information provided.

5. The purpose

Incorporating life coaching in this setting is freedom of

expression. In most cases children are not heard and do not know how to

express themselves verbally so they do it through physical aggression. They assimilate and do not speak up about things influencing their psychological well-being. This  aspect of our team will permit the athlete to be heard, put them steering the ship of their very own objectives they make for themselves. This will likewise improve their capacity to express and convey their needs, needs and concerns autonomously and pursue accomplishing the wanted result.


6. Vision/mission:

Provide a safe place for each athlete to freely express themselves, allow

them to be transparent and embrace their feelings, thoughts and emotions

without judgment. We empathize the importance of developing a healthy lifestyle and

maintaining a healthy life. We focus on being Physically healthy, mentally

healthy, and nutritionally healthy.
