Welcome to Dallas Super Sonic Youth Track and Field Club Sports Club!

Why Do We Exist

Our youth track club exists to empower the next generation through the sport of running. We believe in the power of athletics to instill discipline, determination, and a strong work ethic in young individuals. By providing access to top-notch coaching, training facilities, and competitive opportunities, we aim to help our members reach their full potential both on and off the track. Our club serves as a supportive community where kids can build friendships, learn valuable life skills, and cultivate a love for physical activity that will benefit them for years to come. Together, we strive to inspire greatness in every young athlete who crosses our path.

Why We’ve Added a Mental Health Life Coach?

When athletes face mental health problems, their performance may decline, and they may even drop out of their sport. To support athletes' mental health, parents and coaches should maintain open communication and encourage athletes to reach out for help. Teaching healthy coping skills and addressing unrealistic beliefs can also be beneficial. Encouraging athletes to have interests outside of their sport helps prevent their identity from being solely tied to performance. Word choices should be mindful, focusing on effort rather than placing excessive pressure. If needed, professional mental health support should be sought to diagnose and treat clinical conditions and provide necessary coping and stress management skills.

Why We’ve Added a Nutritional Life Coach?

We've added a nutritional life coach to our youth track and field club to further support the holistic development of our young athletes. Understanding the crucial role that nutrition plays in athletic performance and overall well-being, we have brought in an expert to educate our members on the importance of fueling their bodies properly. By offering guidance on healthy eating habits, meal planning, and understanding the impact of food choices, we aim to help our athletes optimize their performance, boost their energy levels, and establish lifelong habits that promote long-term health. With the support of our nutritional life coach, our young athletes will not only excel on the track but also develop a strong foundation for a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
